Due to inclement weather, some Metro County Connect rides in rural areas will be cancelled for today, Thursday, December 15.  Those individuals who will be impacted will be contacted by telephone.  All other rides will continue to be provided.  Thank you.

Metro County Connect will soon be available later at night with rides ending at 12:15 a.m. To help our certified riders experience the many places they can go later at night, all rides on Metro County Connect after 10:00 p.m. during the month of September will be free. Sundays in September, beginning September 11, will also be free to certified passengers.

Kalamazoo Valley Community College (KVCC) semester-long bus passes will be available for purchase at KVCC on the following dates/times:

  • Tuesday, August 30, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday, August 31, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Tuesday, September 6, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Wednesday, September 7, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • Thursday, September 8, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm

Metro Transit representatives will also be on-hand at the Cougar Kickoff to provide bus passes.

Bus passes are also available at the Kalamazoo Transportation Center from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm now through September 30.  You will need to provide a pink/goldenrod voucher issued from KVCC as proof of payment to obtain your pass.

Note: Thereis a $50 replacement fee if your card pass is lost and damaged and needs to be replaced.
