Central County Transportation Authority
The Central County Transportation Authority (CCTA) was created in August 2014 to manage and operate the services of Metro within the urbanized area.
On October 1, 2016, the CCTA officially began to operate the public transportation system in Kalamazoo County, with the system being transferred from the City of Kalamazoo. Joint meetings of the CCTA and the KCTA take place during the year.
Kalamazoo County Transportation Authority
The Kalamazoo County Transportation Authority (KCTA) was formed in 2006 with the passage of a millage of .45 mills to provide countywide Metro Connect and Metro Share Van services within Kalamazoo County.
The KCTA Board holds its business meetings at 11:30 am on the 2nd Monday of the month in the Metro Administration Building at 530 N Rose Street. Please see the meeting schedule information for specific dates and times.
