Kalamazoo Transportation Center

Welcome to the Kalamazoo Transportation Center!

Built in 1887 by the Michigan Central Railway, the Kalamazoo Transportation Center has seen changes to public transportation needs and technology for generations of Kalamazoo residents! Its status as a community landmark was solidified when it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on July 11, 1975. The station was rebuilt in 2006 to make it multi-modal for the community, facilitating various means of transportation for travelers and commuters. Check out our history!
